Terms and Conditions for DBI Rental Services

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of DBI Rental Services’ party bus, car, and bicycle rental services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these terms. Please read them carefully.

Rental Eligibility:

  • The minimum age for renting a Party Bus is 21 years old with a valid identification document.
  • Car: The minimum age for renting a Car is 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
  • The minimum age for renting a Bicycle is 16 years old. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the reservation process.

Rental Agreement:

  • A rental agreement will be established between DBI Rental Services and the renter upon confirmation of a reservation. The agreement outlines the terms and conditions specific to the rental, including rental period, rates, and any additional charges or fees.

Rental Period and Returns:

  • The rental period begins at the scheduled pickup time and ends at the designated return time specified in the rental agreement.
  • Failure to return the rental vehicle or equipment on time may result in additional charges.
  • Late returns may be subject to penalties or legal consequences.

Usage and Care:

  • Renters must use the rented service responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Renters are responsible for any damages, loss, or theft of the rental vehicle or equipment during the rental period.
  • Any modifications or alterations to the rental vehicles or equipment without prior written consent from DBI Rental Services are strictly prohibited.

    Reservation Changes and Cancellations:

    • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time are eligible for a full refund.
    • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled pick-up time may be subject to a cancellation fee.

    Security Deposit:

    • A security deposit is required for Party Bus and Car rentals. The amount will be determined based on the rental duration and vehicle type.
    • The security deposit will be refunded upon the safe return of the vehicle, subject to any deductions for damages or violation of the rental terms.

    Damages and Cleaning:

    • The renter is responsible for returning the vehicle in the same condition it was received.
    • Any damages or excessive cleaning required will be charged to the renter, subject to inspection upon return.

    Late Fees and Penalties:

    • Late returns beyond the agreed rental period may incur additional fees.
    • The renter is responsible for any fines, penalties, or towing charges incurred during the rental period.

    Age Restrictions and Supervision:

    • Party Bus: Alcohol consumption is limited to passengers who are of legal drinking age (according to local laws).
    • Children must be supervised by adults at all times during the rental period.

    Governing Law and Dispute Resolution:

    • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of The Gambia.
    • Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions or the rental services shall be resolved through negotiation or, if necessary, through legal proceedings in the appropriate courts of The Gambia.
    1. Limitation of Liability:
      • DBI Rental Services shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use our rental services, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or personal injury.
    2. Severability:
      • If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
    3. Modifications to Terms:
    • DBI Rental Services reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review the terms periodically for any changes.

    By using DBI Rental Services’ party bus, car, and bicycle rental services, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.
